Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (BSB42015)


The Certificate IV in Leadership & Management replaces the superseded Certificate IV in Frontline Management. This certificate reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level provide leadership, guidance and support to others. they also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of their team. They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable probelms and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

Nationally Recognised Training

This qualification is delivered in conjunction with Advance Business Specialists (ABS) who are a Registered Training Organisation (ID: 51804) and meet the Standards for RTOs 2015. They participate in ongoing audits to ensure our Management Training in Perth and qualifications offered are current and compliant to these standards.

Course outline

The Certificate IV consists of 10 units packaged as: 4 core units PLUS 8 elective units. All units must be successfully completed to obtain a qualification.

Payment options

This Certificate  has the following payment options

  • Deposit of $500 at registration and balance payable at the commencement of the course
  • Monthly payments of over 6 months from commencement

What’s included?

Our courses include detailed learning materials, assessments, certification upon successful completion and ongoing trainer support throughout the course. Lunch and refreshments are included for classroom workshops.


The Certificate IV assessments are competency based and conducted open book comprising both theoretical and practical exercises. Students will be expected to attend all classes and complete all tasks and activities during the course. There are also activities to be completed outside of the course – these activities are aimed at allowing the learners to apply the course content in their own workplace environment. In addition to the face to face
training and workshops, participants need to complete a set of practical exercises and questions as post-course application of knowledge and skills.


RPL is available for each unit of competency based on relevant workplace experience, formal training and/or other expertise. To apply for RPL please discuss with ABS administration or your trainer/assessor. For (RPL) you will be required to submit a portfolio of evidence within 12 months of the enrollment date.
